Who am I and What do I talk about?

My name is Matt Morginsky, you may know me as the lead singer of the Orange County Supertones. These days I speak to youth (and older people as well) about the reasons to believe Christianity is true, and also how to communicate it to others with humility and respect, another word for it is “apologetics”.A disturbing reality in the church is that the majority of Christians young and old have no clue as to how they know that Christianity is true. They also have no idea how to deal with skeptical objections to the Christian faith, the result is that they’re either antagonistic toward non-Christians, and/or they avoid thinking about or dealing with these questions. Both are reactions of fear and are inappropriate for Christian people. Of course sooner or later you’re forced to deal with these questions, typically when they go to college or move out on their own outside of the Christian community they grew up in.Having a firm grasp on the truth claims of Christianity and the rationale behind them will enable you and your youth to more effectivly, and humbly interact with people who hold to different points of view. And will also help to prepare them to deal with their own doubts and questions about the Christian faith.
